Too much ribbon!!!!!

Is there such a thing????? I really have too much ribbon. So much that I have filled up the space where I keep my ribbon. I store it all in the second drawer of a "dresser" (that I moved into my scrap room when my kids got new furniture) and I have filled it up. See, I have one layer of ribbon:

and then on top of all of this I stack baskets with more ribbon in them.

I still have yet another small basket of ribbon that needs to be placed in this drawer. So what shall I do? I am going to get rid of ribbon that I know I won't use and give it to my dear mother. One of my resolutions for the year is get rid of it!!!! I have a tendency to hang on to old SB stuff even though I know I won't use it. Moving really helped me get rid of some stuff, so I am going to try and keep it up, and besides, my mother loves it when I clean out. She would much rather come over here and shop than go to an sb store anyway...it's free!!!! If I could shop like that I would, too. :@)

I registered my Baby for school today!!!!!

Mommy: Pumpkin, we are going to see if you can go to ****** Elementary School.
DD: But, how are we going to my new school and I don't have a backpack or a new lunch box?
Mommy: You are not going to school today you won't start going until later.
DD: But, I'm bigger enough!
Mommy: Yes, you are, but it's not time for you to go, baby.
DD: But, I'm old enough!
Mommy: You are old enough, but you have to wait until school starts again. You know how you get to stay at home with mommy when its hot outside and we scrapbook and do school things?
DD: Yes, Ma'am. . .
Mommy: And then mommy tells you that I have to go back to work and what do you say?
DD: I don't want you to go back, I want you to stay home so that I can stay home with you.
Mommy: Well, that's when you will get to go to school and then Mommy will get you a new backpack and a new lunchbox. Okay?
DD: Okay, but will it be a Dora lunchbox?
Mommy: Of course, it will be, if we can find one.

This was how our conversation went today as we arrived at the school that my child has been talking about since her cousin started going to the school two years ago. She was so excited and didn't want to leave. All I can say is that it is going to be a very emotional day for me in August!!!!

Can you believe that I did not take a picture of her. Now, that I think about it, I could have taken a pic of her and the secretary who was absolutely wonderful. Oh, well, this will be a LO without a pic. HMMMM, time to get creative!!!!

Hello, again, blog world!!!!!

This has been the longest that I have gone without updating, but once again I am back!!!! Rather than talk about what has happened since I've been gone, I'll just start with today and go from there. Please know that everything with me and my family is fine, I have just been super busy and lacked a desire to blog. I haven't even had the desire to scrapbook much lately. I have made my sb resolutions for the year and have tried to stick to them. Maybe I'll post those another day.

At any rate, I have been in a scrapping mood this weekend. I proudly completed 2 12 x 12 pages of my dd and an ABC album for a friend. I am ashamed to say when I started the albums, but I made her one for each of her sons (she has two) and I just finished the second one today. Here are two pages from one of the albums:

I can't wait to give it to her!!!! I have also been doing some cleaning and reorganizing of my scrap room. It's still not exactly how I want it to be as I have bought some things that need to be hung or somethings that need to be altered but I think that my room will always be a work in progress. So with that being said here are a few pics of my room:

Did I mention that I love my new room!!!! It is just the right size for me. I keep everything organized and have been purging pretty regularly because I just can't outgrow this room. Oh, I forgot to take pics of the closet. I can put things in it and close the door. I just cleaned it out, too. Well, I'll have to post pics of that later. Until next time . . .
