WHAT A FABULOUS WEEKEND!!!!

We had a girls weekend which included a trip to Nashville with my Sister-in-laws and Mother-in-law, my neice and my dd. I am pooped, but it was well worth it. We shopped and shopped and shopped and talked and talked and talked and laughed and laughed and laughed and . . .well, I think you get the picture. I have unpacked and put away everything I bought, can you believe it? I actually cleaned out my closet which was long overdue. If there was such a thing as a MAXIMUM capacity for closets, I definitely overexceeded my limit. LOL!!! I think that I have gotten rid of about 30 or 40 pairs of shoes and several bags of clothing. WHOOOOOO!!! Now I have room for more. LOL!!!! I have been in a cleaning and reorganizing mood lately. I have even started tackling my scrap room. Yep, it's time for some much needed change. I've got to get things back in order!!!!!

I HAVE BEEN EXTREMELY BUSY!!!!!

I have been so busy that I just haven't taken the time to update my blog. I am updating tonight just to let you guys know that I am fine and so is my family, it's just been hectic. Things should slow down within the next few weeks. If you check back and see that once again I haven't updated, just know that I am working hard to finish school. I am completing some major assignments. Until next time. . .

HAPPY EASTER!!!!

It has been a full day!!!!! We woke up to quite a scare this morning. DH's eye was swollen shut!!! We don't know exactly what could have caused it, but after seeing the Dr. it appears to be conjunctivitis, or pink eye. So, we are treating it with a prescribed ointment and another home remedy. Yeah, you know I am from the south. I asked if he would let me take a pic, he just kind of chuckled. I'm still going to get one though. LOL!!!

Well, even though the day didn't start well, we still managed to take pictures and spent the rest of the day at our parent's (mine and my in-laws) houses. Here are some of me and my dd this morning. She was so surprised with the items in her basket. Especially a pair of pom-pons for which she has wanted for quite a while. RAH!!!

All in all it was a great day and a busy weekend. Now . . .I . .must . . .get . . .some . . .SLEEP!!! Nighty Night!!!!

May I interrupt to share some exciting news!!!!!!

I received my congratulatory letter today and I am SO EXCITED!!!!! I am definitely counting down. Only three assignments left to complete, three weeks to go before I am finished with my classes, and four weeks until graduation!!! YIPPEEE SKIPPEEEE!!!! You may now return to your regularly scheduled activities. LOL!!!!


I know the part I covered is a bit "ghetto", but hey you saw my score yesterday. LOL!!!!

Look at What I found at Walmart!!!!

I went to Wally World this afternnon looking for the MiMi-like totes that I read about on the CKMB. They were supposed to be on clearance for like $15.00. Well, I found something that may have been what everyone was talking about for $14.88, but decided not to get it. I then wondered to the sewing department. I love to find neat sb finds there and found these really large, really cute buttons!!!!

I just love buttons and have tons of them, especially LARGE ones. Whenever I see them I have to purchase them. I found these and still did not get everydesign they had. There were tons. I'm sure I'll be visiting them again real soon!!!!

I PASSED!!!!!!!

I am so excited!!!!!!! I am so glad to have that over and done with!!!!! Now, I only have three more assignments to complete and I'm homefree!!!!

I completed my comps today and one of my professors met with me to discuss my time at the university. She actually made me cry. yes, I am crier so it doesn't take much, but what she said really menat a lot to me. Darn, I shouldhave had her write that stuff down for my BOM. I told her that I plan on getting a picture of the two of us at graduation and she is all for it.

Well, I know that I haven't updated in a while, but last week was such a busy week for me just as the next three weeks will be. It is indeed crunch time and I am trying to complete everything so that I can just sit back and wait for the BIG day . . .GRADUATION!!!!!

And another LO . . .

Here is another LO that I completed last week. It is very simple, but I love it!!!! Sorry about the terrible scan, but I am still trying to get the hang of this stitching thang. LOL!!!!

This is my DH who is such a great cook. Here he is preparing an omelet and let me tell ya, they are the BOMB!!!!! I'm so blessed to have a hubby who loves to cook and is so good at it!!!! I used Bazzill CS and everything else is from Ki's new line. I think it's called Extreme. I love it, too!!!!

I have about three more LOs to scan and stitch, so maybe I will get those up soon. I am having a very busy week. Toodles for now!!!!

AHHHHHHH!!!!!

My house is clean and smelling good!!!!! I just love the smell of a freshly cleaned house. The scent of carpet fresh is lingering, candles are burning, the faint smells of comet and clorox cleaner are in the air, and the twinkling I see that bounces off of the bathtubs as I pass give me such a relaxing feeling. Too bad I go back to work tomorrow, but that's okay. The sooner I go back back the quicker it will be over. In just two short months school will be out and I Will be graduating in one. Yes, four more weeks of classes and I will be HOMEFREE!!!!!

Well, for now I am about to go to the grocery store and I think I may have to stop at my LSS. Bye for now!!!!

I Learned How To SCAN and STITCH!!!!!!

Well, I already knew how to scan, but didn't know how to stitch. So, here are some LOs that I have completed. These two were really fun. I have a few more that I would like to post, but my goodness, it has taken me forever to scan, stitch, and resize!!! I think I need a nap!!! LOL!!!!


We had a ball that afternoon. My dd only wanted to play with her ball and not take pics with me, but I managed to get away her away from her little game. I love how this LO turned out, but it is much prettier in person. I used some of the new Queen & Company stuff (green flowers and mini-brads) that I ordered from Adrienne's LSS , Scrap, ETC.


These pics are quite old, but I rediscovered this Daisy D's paper in my stash and these ancient stickers that spell out OREO and thought they were perfect!!! This is the first time my dd had an Oreo Cookie. I used some Q & C stuff (hook ups, bon bons, and anchorettes) on this one too. It looks much better in person also.

Can someone tell me what I might be doing wrong???? and how in the heck do I get rid of that line where the two images were stitched????

It is TOO Early in the Morning for me . . .

to be awake!!!! The worst part is that I haven't been to sleep!!!! I have been up scrapping all night long. I hope to post the LOs later on today. My digi camera just isn't cooperating, so I will try again later.
