Project Scraproom is well underway!!!!!

As you can see, I have been working on trying to get everything put away in my scrap room so that I can finally scrap. The sad thing is that when I complete it, the hallway and the guest room will be ready, too!!!! I guess that is a good thing, but my scrap stuff is just everywhere!!!! I am having a crop on Friday night, so I took off today to tackle the final boxes and get everything else in order.

Today is also my DD's 4th birthday. I cannot believe my baby is four years old. I am on my way to her school for pizza. Her dad is picking up pizza for the kids as we speak. My hubby's parents wanted to have a birthday dinner for her, so we are going to Red Lobster this evening. Now what 4 year old do you know that loves Red Lobster???? Only my child. She is truly my child, is all I can say!!!! LOL!!!!This is going to be fun!!!!!

As promised . . .

Here are just a few pics of our new home. I only took a few as we still have stuff that has to be unpacked and I didn't want a lot of boxes in the pics. So, without further ado, here they are:

This is the kitchen. It's a lot more spacious than the galley style kitchen we had. It was already painted the colors that you see. I can't wait to add more decor to it. We still have to get a stainless steel fridge and a new kitchen table.

This is the downstairs bathroom. I just love the colors. It's a half bath so I could only get so much of it in the pic. As you can see, I still have to hang those medallions on the wall. Well, I mean DH does.:-)



This is the guest bathroom upstairs, well part of it. I love the colors in it as well.

And here is another view, a view of the throne. Yep, I still have some things to do to this bathroom, too.



This is the view from the living room. I just love the stairs and the loft area. I must admit the stairs have taken some getting used to. They killed me the first week. I promise I lost about three pounds moving things upstairs!!!! LOL!!!

And finally, here is my scrap room. As you can see it is horrible. I have stuff in the hallway, loft area, and the guest bedroom. I plan to post pics as soon as I get it organized which I am hoping will be this weekend.

I will try to post more pics as the rooms become presentable. Right now, we still have some in disarray. Thanks for looking!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME . . .

Happy Birthday to me, happy birthday to me!!!!! Yes to day is my birthday and I am 31 years old. I am just as fine as I was 10 years ago, but I like to think that I have gotten better with time, just like fine wine. Today has been a great day so far!!! As I was getting into my car this morning, I noticed a card on my windshield that my hubby left for me. It was so sweet. I told him not to get me anything as we have just purchased a new home which is a present for us all. His b-day is the 18th and my dd's is the 19th so we have all gotten a fantastic birthday present this year.

Well, I am leaving this building as soon as possible today and I am not staying late!!!! I plan on going home and tackling something else in my house. I hope to post later tonight!!!!

I have GOOD news and BAD news . . .

The good news is that I finally have internet service!!! It seems like it has been forever, but I was able to get a lot more done around the house. The laundry is done and everything has been put away in the kitchen. The kids' room was the first to be completed, of course. The living room is finished for now (we have to get new furniture) and the dining room, well, it's empty, but that will come sometime in the near future. The downstairs bathroom and upstairs guest bathroom are both clean and decorated. I still have to tackle the guest bedroom, our bedroom, and finally, my scrap room. YAY!!!!!! I was excited about posting pics tonight, but my camera batteries are dead and I just located my charger, so the bad news is that I won't be able to post pics tonight. But hopefully tomorrow night. I have a very full day tomorrow, so if it doesn't get the best of me look for pics tomorrow.

What a Week it has Been!!!!!

I am worn out!!!!! I have been putting away things only to realize there is so much more to do!!!! We just got cable yesterday, but no interent!!!!! There is some type of system problem that may take 24 to 48 hours to fix so looks like I will spend another weekend without the internet. AAAARRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!! I am going nuts not being able to surf the net, but at least I was able to watch TV last night. I plan to get everything put away so that I can tackle my scrap room. I soooooo want to scrap, but my house is in such disarray that I can't even think about it right now. Besides, my scrap room has to be organized before I can even begin a LO. Right now I have scrap stuff everywhere!!!! LOL!!!! I still plan to post pics as soon as soon as my internet is working. Until then, think of me as I complete the monumental task of moving. LOL!!!!

AND MY BIG NEWS IS . . . .

WE"RE MOVING!!!!!!!!! I am so excited!!!!!! We closed Friday evening so between Friday and today we have been packing and painting!!!!! Today is moving day and my house looks like an absolute mess!!!!! I cannot wait to have this all over so that I can have everything put away, start decorating my house, and most of all, enjoy my scrap room. Yep, I have my very own scrap room now. No, scrap room/guest room anymore!!!!! I promise to post pics later, but for now, it's back to work!!!!!
